ROLLING LOUD CA 2025: A BIGGER, BOLDER, EXPERIENCE IN A SHORTER FORMAT
BY: JESSE ZAPATERO
Last year’s festival was incredible, but it looks like Rolling Loud has stepped it up a notch for 2025. The world-renowned hip-hop festival is returning to Hollywood Park in Inglewood on March 15-16, and while it’s been trimmed down from three days to two, nothing about the energy or star power has been sacrificed.
For many fans, Rolling Loud isn’t just about the lineup—it’s about the experience. Whether you’re in GA or going all out with VIP, the festival always delivers an unforgettable weekend. The move to a two-day format also means a more budget-friendly ticket without losing any of the massive performances or immersive activations. Co-founders Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif emphasized that this change is all about keeping the festival accessible while maintaining its reputation as one of the biggest hip-hop events in the world.
Headlining this year’s stacked lineup are A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti, joined by a special guest appearance from Regional Mexican sensation Peso Pluma. With over 75 artists performing across three stages, attendees will get to see heavy-hitters like YG, Quavo, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Ski Mask The Slump God. West Coast favorites Ab-Soul, Kamaiyah, Dom Kennedy, 03 Greedo, Larry June, and Blxst will also be in the mix, alongside rising stars like Hurricane Wisdom, Skaiwater, and Molly Santana.
One of the biggest surprises of this year’s event is Peso Pluma’s debut as a Rolling Loud headliner. Known for his chart-topping album ÉXODO and his influence in the regional Mexican music scene, Peso’s inclusion reflects the festival’s continued expansion beyond traditional hip-hop, embracing a wider range of sounds that connect with today’s audiences. Another unexpected addition to the lineup is basketball star LiAngelo Ball, aka "G3 Gelo," who is set to make his performance debut on opening day. Fans can expect him to perform his viral hit “Tweaker” and more.
With a lineup this strong and a more accessible ticket price, Rolling Loud California 2025 is shaping up to be one of the best editions yet. Whether you’re a longtime attendee or a first-timer, this year’s festival promises an unbeatable mix of music, culture, and energy—proving once again why it remains one of my personal favorites.
