'UPLOAD'S' ALLEGRA EDWARDS ON AMAZON’S FUTURISTIC DARK COMEDY UPLOAD AND INGRID KANNERMAN’S SHOES

Below is the video of our Exclusive quarantine interview with actress Allegra Edwards who plays the role of the icy, fashionable, Ingrid Kannerman in Amazon Prime Studio's futuristic, dark comedy series UPLOAD.

Edwards spoke about working with Robbie Ammel, the fun opportunity to play a totally different character, as well as Ingrid’s, fashion, shoes, and make-up.

UPLOAD is a satire created by Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation), set in a fictional future where humans have the ability to “upload” their consciousness into a virtual life of their choice. It is a fun sort of sci-fi show toying with the morals and the questions surrounding the idea of uploading someone’s consciousness to a seemingly eternal vacation simulation.

In the show, Allegra plays Ingrid Kannerman, Nathan’s (Robbie Ammel) icy girlfriend. Nathan died prematurely and Ingrid chose to have Nathan uploaded in the expensive computer simulated afterlife spot called Lake View.

As the show peels off its layers and as the audience sees the politics, rules and the dynamics of the show, it gets more and more exciting.

…it’s really fun to walk in her shoes. Especially her shoes. That’s another thing that I love about playing her. She’s got the best shoes. I wish you all could see them up close too. Some of them look like armor, others look like they’re from another era, most of them were more than 3 or 4 inches high, so I feel very powerful when I’m in her shoes.
