Tell us your story in a nutshell. Who is Jonny in the eyes of his friends?

I'm just a kid from SoCal who likes to make movies. I found this out at five years old, and have been pursuing it ever since. My friends just look at me as jonny, their goofy friend.

Where are you originally from?

I'm from Westlake Village, California

Tell us about your hometown.

It was a pretty place to grow up and I'm glad I grew up in the suburbs as opposed to the city.

How did you get discovered as a a child actor?

Long story short my sister was in an acting class and I gave it a try. I loved it right off the bat and started auditioning. I booked a few commercials and then Jerry Maguire.

Looking back 20 years ago, how did Jerry Maguire influenced you as a person and as an actor?

It changed my life completely and I fell deeply in love with acting.

What is your most memorable experience in acting?

My most memorable experience is doing a play called "Lost Girls" in 2013. I had the opportunity to originate a part and the writing by John Pollono was fantastic.

How do you manage your time?

I'm constantly trying to figure that one out.

What keeps you in focus?

My goals are the background on my phone and I try to adhere to them.

If you can compare acting to your favorite food, what would it be and why?

Sushi, because it is so delicious if done right, but is also capable of falling apart if not handled properly.

What’s your favorite part in being an actor?

I love experiencing different characters and telling stories.

What else keeps you busy aside from acting?

I love Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai and that keeps me fairly busy. I also spend a lot of time with my partner in crime, my cairn terrier Denny Lipnicki!

How is the transition from being a child actor to your present self?

It's definitely been difficult, but if you love something enough it doesn't matter what obstacles you face.

It's amazing and inspiring to see you do Jiu-jitsu and other activities that doesn't seem to put you in a box. How is it doing projects that ranges from action to comedy to drama?

I'm excited because not one project I've done recently has been the same. It's exciting to not know what's next.

Tell us about Interns of F.I.E.L.D.?

It was a great experience doing such a relevant show, that makes fun of all the quirks of the superhero movies and tv shows. I loved working with the screen junkies family and I would love to do more with them. I made some great friends on that show and that is priceless. That's honestly my favorite thing about that project.

How is it fighting with Danny Trejo in Bad Ass?

Danny is such a nice guy and it was truly an honor to work with him.  I got chat with him quite a bit which was awesome.

Dream project?

I co-wrote a script with Lovell Holder who directed me in "Loserville."
It is so personal and we will make it one day!

Currently binge watching:

Westworld!!!!!!!

Any advice you can give to any aspiring young actors out there?

Take classes and become a student of the game. Always believe!

Book that you’re currently reading.

The Magicians by Lev Grossman

If you’re gonna have a book what title would it be and why?

"Don't sweat the small stuff"

If you will be given the chance and opportunity to help a specific charity, what would it be and why?

Anything to do with dogs! I love dogs so very much.
