What inspired you to do your first pageant?
I was inspired by the opportunities that I had to reach different organizations, to request for economic support and funds for charity work, with that I was able to help many people during my reign.
Why did you choose to compete for Miss Earth?
I chose it because I loved the advocacy that the pageant has which is the environment, and of course because I somehow knew that it was meant to be for me.
What was your most memorable moment during the Miss Earth Competition?
The most memorable moment during the competition was being able to spend amazing moments in different cities of the Philippines receiving so much Loveland smiles from everyone. People screaming my name and my country Ecuador- that will never fade away from my mind.
How did it feel to hear your name as the winner of the competition?
I always dreamed that my name will be known worldwide and when I heard it, I felt like i was in a dream! A dream that eventually came true!
Who is your most favorite beauty queen of all time?
My favorite beauty queen will always be myself, it may be ironic to say but I’m so proud of my accomplishments because more than anyone I know all the hardships I had to go through. I was so brave and worked so hard that I will give that merit to myself!
What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
The legacy I want to leave behind is the fact that even though we will find many obstacles in life when we want to achieve a goal or a dream you can’t put your head down and give up. You have to wake up every morning thanking for a new day, with a new opportunity to become better than yesterday with your head hold up high and always smiling. Believe in yourself first so that others can do it as well. Dream big because dreams come true!
What do you think is your greatest achievement in your career so far?
In my career finishing law school and becoming a lawyer.
What is your dream project?
My dream project is creating my own charity foundation with my name printed in huge letters, partnered with the most important organizations worldwide.
Now that your reign is over, what’s next for you?
The next step is continuing my studies with my Masters degree in international law, and creating my own brand of clothing and makeup line.
Any advice that you can give to the future miss earth contestants?
My advice for the future contestants is that if their dream is to become Miss Earth you must work hard to make it possible because winning is not an easy task. It really takes courage and preparation to make it.
If you’re going to have a book, what title would it be?
My book will be titled “My steps into the discovery of who I am today”
if you’re going to have the chance to support any charity/organization/person, what/who would it be and why?
I would love to be part of the United Nations women’s movement and also the UNICEF
